Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies used by www.holidayhouseravello.it and explains how to manage your consent, in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines of 10 June 2021.

Technical cookies

These are needed for the website to work and do not require consent.

Visit statistics (no cookies)

To know how many people visit the site and which pages they read we use Matomo, installed on a server in Italy managed by Design e Servizi as data processor. Matomo stores no cookies, shortens the IP address before recording it and produces only aggregate figures about this site, which are shared with no one and never leave the European Union. For this reason, under the Italian DPA guidelines of 10 June 2021, consent is not required. If you refuse statistics in the banner, we do not count you anyway.

Third-party content (with consent)

The Google Maps map on the “Where we are” page is shown only if you choose to see it. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies: see Google's policy. To draw the map, Google also loads its own fonts and other resources from its servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com, maps.googleapis.com): this too happens only after your choice.

External links (WhatsApp, Facebook, Bed-and-Breakfast.it) lead to sites with their own policies: none of their cookies are set until you open them.

Record of your choices

To be able to demonstrate consent, as required by Article 7 GDPR, every choice made in the banner is recorded on a server run by the data controller in Italy: a random identifier of the choice (also stored in the hhr_consent cookie), date and time, categories accepted or refused, version and text of the banner shown, page, truncated IP address (last block set to zero) and browser type. No name, email or other data that directly identifies you is recorded. The data is kept for 13 months and then deleted automatically. Your identifier is shown under “Cookie preferences”: you can quote it to request access to or deletion of your choice.

Managing your consent

On your first visit you can accept, reject or choose categories. Refusing does not limit your browsing. Your choice lasts 6 months and you can change it at any time:

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

For more information on how we process data, see the Privacy Policy.
